Steps to purchasing your Villa or Apartment

To reserve your Villa
- Choose a villa from the site plan.
- Pay the deposit of £2,000 and fill in a preliminary purchase agreement. This guarantees you your chosen site for 30 days.
- If necessary go on a fly buy trip and confirm or change your chosen site.
- If you do not sign the main purchase contract within the 30 days the reservation becomes void and the deposit will be automatically refunded in full.
To purchase your villa
- Sign the main purchase agreement within before 30 days. Normally in either our solicitor’s offices or our mortgage broker’s offices.
- Pay Main Deposit, i.e.15% of purchase price
- On completion of property
- Pay balance of purchase price less deposits and flight costs if applicable.
- Pay 5% fees to cover administrative costs, deed transfer costs and taxes.
- Receive your purchase agreement, maintenance agreement and the keys to your property(s).
- Supply photocopies of your passport(s) which are sent to the military HQ in Izmir. (This is to check that a foreigner is not buying a property in a military zone. Obviously this is just a formality in a tourist resort like Datca, but it is government regulations.)This process takes up to three months, but can be started three months before completion.
- Once the military approval has been verified, Sign for your deeds in the government registry office in Datca when convenient.
